Western Mediterranean - Palma de Mallorca to Gibraltar to Barcelona

When the call came to help skipper a 84' Palmer Johnston ketch from Palma de Mallorca to Barcelona via Gibraltar, it was an opportunity to interesting to say no to. It turned out to be quite an interesting 3 weeks - here's a few photos that highlight the trip

Seychelles Crewed Cabin Charter

Images From Our Yacht Charter and Sailing Holiday, February 2020

We spent a fantastic 7 days sailing around and exploring the islands of Mahe, Prasllin, La Digue and Curieuse. With guests from the USA, Germany and Italy, it was a very multinational crew we had onboard. There were so many highlights, perhaps the best way to get a feel for the Seychelles is from the many images we took.

Sardinia 2022

Images From Sailing Holiday, East Coast of Sardinia, July/August 2022

We spent 10 days exploring the east coast of Sardinia, starting from Cagliari at the south of the island and working our way north. It's a fairly uninhabited coastline (for European standards) and truly spectacular in places. Enjoy the photos.

Aeolian Islands 2022

Off the North East Coast of Sicily, August 2022

The volcanic Aeolian Islands are made up of Lipari, Vulcano, Salina, Stromboli, Filicudi, Alicudi and Panarea. Stromboli and Vulcano are active and you see some form of eruption from them both every day. It's a World Heritage area and a very special place to visit. (Just maybe not in August! So hot and crowded with boats of every description).

Ionian Islands 2022

Off the West Coast of Greece, September 2022

Starting in Lefkas, Nathalie and I had friends join us from France and Italy to spend a week exploring the islands heading south. Not much wind but we had a great time anyway onboard a Lagoon 42, visiting Ithaca, Meganisi and Kefalonia. Lots of nice quite anchorages, plenty of swimming and meals ashore at various tavernas. What's not to like!

Côte d'Azur Cruising

With A Side Trip To Corsica, August 2022

Onboard a Swan 53, I sailed with the owner two-up on a shakedown cruise along the Côte d'Azur after a two year refit. A highlight was a stopover in Saint-Tropez which was quite a lovely place once you looked underneath all the glitz and glamour. We then headed 90M south to Corsica and were joined by some more crew for some exploration of the west coast of the island. Certainly quite rugged and remote in places. A great trip and then it was back to our starting point - Nice.
